Who We Are
President of Local 34
You can’t be what you can’t see in this world. Luckily my union has been led by strong women since its inception who have fought and won respect in their workplace. Now as the first Black woman president of my union, I show others what is possible when women organize and fight for each other. I want to make sure everyone knows how hard we fought for our current standard and how we must continue to demand respect if we want to keep it.”
